in episode 4 how much do , borman, himmler, gobbels and hitler actors look like there real life counterparts? some very good casting and makeup look, and the berlin bunker entrance is very well done too, maybe the real one even ?

i see they stressed the bit about hitler taking poison and not the bullet, his valet giving him a bullet after death, not true, but the soviet version at the time, still good all the same

Not got that far went to episode 1 first 5 films to watch, subtitles in white over a white background is annoying but all those tanks make up for it

Yes the sort of thing the UK TV would do a lot of in the past to mix old footage in from the war and this is the same, but the seem to have chosen all the political sections to be B&W. Anyway stick with it there are some good bit and as Porta pointed out to me, much of it is to show Russia in a good light just like our or American films do. No raping the women of Berlin in this film series

After the site visit, i was thinking about russain gameplay.

Whilst Human waves are great fun, No-one wants to pay to play , and spend all day getting mullered, (well i tend to, but thats my personal fetish , i mean style)

the glorious Soviet army is supplying us with a mobile armoured Artillery peice, and a maxim gun fitted with a sheild. so we can advance with some support.

The Germans will be in Fortified positions, and there are 4 or 5 pillboxes around the site. Our intelligence points to at least 2 and maybe 3 MG42 machine guns, so it will be a tough fight.

as crazy as it sounds, a german deserter claimed to have seen an american tank in the vicitny of the tunnels as well

Emailed Josh the other day about having his hire kit available for all the lovely russian kit he has. Now i have only asked to borrow two lots for guys i have talked into coming but if we can sort something out i dont mind getting it to the game and returning it afterwards if those people who want use take the responsability of it and are willing to say chuck in a couple of quid for delivery petrol for the trip or whatever?
what do you guys think? of course this all depends on Josh being receptive of the idea but i am sure he will because he is a nice bloke! (just a bit of flatery added in case he reads it )

ive used joshes hire kit, and its more than up to the job, its good stuff.
